A Musical Acrobatic Adventure
Cirque Eloize "Saloon"

(1/18) The Wild West comes alive at the Majestic Theater, Gettysburg, PA on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 7:30p.m. with Cirque Eloize’s "Saloon",a musical acrobatic adventure that gathers 12 multi-talented artists on stage, including three musicians and singers. Korean plank, aerial straps, Cyr wheel, hand-to-hand and plenty of other inspired acts present an incredible love story where almost anything goes. The spectators find themselves plunged into an America expanding its frontiers in an exhilarating Wild West where the "Saloon" is where everybody comes to meet and tell their tales. In no time, the audience is swept up in an action-packed world of acrobatics, music and comedy.

"There’s the circus, and then there’s Cirque Eloize," remarked Jeffrey Gabel the Majestic’s Founding Executive Director. "The young acrobats in ‘Saloon’ have been thrilling audiences with their athleticism in major performing arts centers in Europe and North America."

In the middle of the desert, a town comes to life. The saloon doors swing open to reveal a motley cast of individuals, each with a tale to tell. In Cirque Éloize’s "Saloon", the infectious energy of folk music and strains of fiddle set the tone for an acrobatic comedy that sweeps spectators away in a mad flurry. Positioned at the heart of the renewal of circus arts, Cirque Éloize has been creating moving performances filled with magic and emotion since 1993. Continually striving for artistic perfection, it is one of the leaders in contemporary circus arts. Based on the multidisciplinary talents of its artists, Cirque Éloize expresses its innovative nature through theatricality and humanity, and combines circus arts with music, dance and theatre in a path-breaking and original manner.
