All Woodsboro town businesses are encouraged to apply for up to $5,000 in grant relief each in COVID-19 relief funding.

The application process for COVID-19 relief grants runs through April 15.

Eligible businesses must be registered in the town, be in good standing with the state and able to prove effects of the pandemic on the business.

Applications can be obtained off the town website, or by visiting the town office and must be received at the town office by 4 p.m. April 15, to be considered.

Final decisions will be made by April 30 and funds will be distributed the first week of May to all selected businesses.

Easter Egg Hunt

The Woodsboro Volunteer Fire Department and the town will partner to host an Easter Egg Hunt April 9 at the recreation park. The event will begin at 1 p.m. and have three age categories with grand prizes in each age group. The Easter Bunny will also be available for pictures.

The egg hunt is made possible by donations from the Woodsboro Evangelical Lutheran Church as well as by many other generous town citizens.

The rain date for the egg hunt will be April 10.
