Entered the service as Sergeant; promoted to Second Lieutenant, Company D; First Lieutenant, May 1,1863; Captain, August 11, 1864; Brevet-Major, April 6, 1865, for gallant and meritorious services at the battle of Sailor's Creek, Va.

Grayson M. Eichelberger, 1st Lieutenant, Mustered into service on August 20, 1862 Mustered out of service on June 20, 1865.

David C. Hammett, 2nd Lieutenant. Mustered into service on August 20, 1862. Mustered out of service on June 25, 1864. Entered the service as First Sergeant; promoted Second Lieutenant, Company D, May 1, 1863. Discharged for disability.

John R. Rouzer, Captain. Mustered into service on August 23, 1862. Mustered out of service on June 20, 1865. Entered the service as First Lieutenant, Company D; promoted to Captain, Company B, May 1, 1863; wounded battle of Wilderness, Va.; May 5, 1864; captured at battle of Winchester, Va., September 19, 1864; prisoner of war at Libby, Danville and Salisbury prisons. Brevet Major. March 13, 1865, for gallant conduct at the battle of Winchester, Va.; Brevet Lieutenant-Colonel, March 13, 1865, for gallant and meritorious service during the war.
