 Mrs. Ruby Sheeley

Mrs. Ruby N. (Glass) Sheeley, 80, of DePaul Street, Emmitsburg, died on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005, at the Gettysburg Hospital, Gettysburg, Pa.

Born April 28, 1924, in Danville, Va., she was a daughter of the late Milburn M. and Mary Glass.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Guy Sheeley.

She was retired from St. Joseph's Provincial House after 25 years of service. At the time of her death, she was working at McDonald's in Emmitsburg.

She is survived by two children, Marie Champlain and husband Charles of Emmitsburg, and Ronald E. Sheeley of Emmitsburg; seven grandchildren, Kimberly Duttera, Christina Moore, Charles Champlain II, Angela Topper, Mary Beth Shifflet, and Janice Topper; and one great-grandson, David Shifflet.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14 from Grace Bible Church on Tract Road, Fairfield, Pa., with the Rev. Carleton Burrows officiating.

Interment will be in Emmitsburg Memorial Cemetery.

There will be no viewing or visitation at the funeral home.
