Mrs. Margaret Boyer

Mrs. Margaret Mae Ogle Boyer, 102, of Emmitsburg, died Sunday, April 9, at St. Catherine's Nursing Center, Emmitsburg.

Born May 10, 1903 in Loy Station, Md., she was a daughter of the late Harvey B. and Grace Keilholtz Ogle.

She was predeceased by her husband of 41 years, George Ogle, on September 5, 1967. They were married on March 18, 1926.

Mrs. Boyer was a member of Incarnation United Church of Christ, Emmitsburg, Senior Citizens of Emmitsburg, and worked in the cafeteria at Emmitsburg public school for many years. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by nine brothers and sisters, Kathryne Valentine, Viola Ogle, Pauline Montgomery, Rachel Zentz, Hilda Ogle, John Ogle, Janice Valentine, Frances Rosensteel and Robert Ogle.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday April 13 from the Skiles Funeral Home, 210 W. Main St. Emmitsburg, with her pastor, the Rev. Regie Rice officiating.

Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Yellow Springs.
